The short answer

The current briefing is free. A paid subscriber tier adds the full numbered issue archive and the standing references as a downloadable reference pack, revised as positions change. There is no advertising network on this site, no affiliate links and no paid placements, and the subscriber tier never affects what appears in an issue or how it is written.

Two tiers. The free one is genuinely useful on its own, because a publication whose free tier is a teaser is a marketing exercise rather than a publication.

Free

The briefing

No charge
  • The current issue in full, with every section and every confidence marker
  • Email notification when a new issue is published
  • Notification when a standing reference is revised, and what changed
  • Full access to every standing reference on the site
  • No advertising network, no affiliate links, no tracking beyond what the site needs to work
Paid

Archive and reference pack

Paid tier
  • The complete numbered issue archive, permanently
  • The standing references as a single downloadable reference pack, revised as positions change
  • A change log for every revision to a standing reference, with the date and the reason
  • The sources register: every institution and document cited across the publication, in one list
  • Everything in the free tier

What paying does not change

It does not change what appears in an issue, how a claim is assessed, or whether an organisation is mentioned. It does not buy access to the editor's judgement, an introduction, a mention, or a link. There is no tier that buys coverage, because coverage is not a product here.

It also does not buy certainty. The confidence marker framework applies identically at every tier. A paid archive of speculation labelled as speculation is more useful than a free archive of speculation presented as fact, but it is still speculation and we will keep saying so.

How to subscribe

Enter your email below. You will receive the free briefing, and details of the paid tier when you want them. One email address, no name required, no telephone number, and no data passed to anyone. You can unsubscribe from any email and we will delete the address on request.

What we do with your email address

We use it to send you the briefing and nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, share it with sponsors, or use it to build a profile. Sponsors never receive subscriber data in any form, aggregated or otherwise. The full position is on the privacy page.

No commercial links on this page

This article contains no commercial links of any kind. No affiliate links, no sponsored placements, and no links to any clinic, practitioner, agency, brand, product or retailer. Nobody paid for it, nobody previewed it and nobody outside the editorial team saw it before publication.

This publication does not name, rank or rate clinics, practitioners or agencies, because it has assessed none of them. Our funding is set out in full on the about page, the sponsor position is on the sponsorship page, and our commitments are in our editorial standards.

This is trade analysis, not medical or legal advice.

The briefing, when the next issue is published

The current issue is free. One email when a new numbered issue is published, and a note when a standing reference is revised, with the date and what changed. No treatment offers, no clinic recommendations and no rankings, because we publish none of those.
