What we collect
An email address, if you subscribe. Nothing else is required: no name, no telephone number, no company, no job title.
Whatever you write, if you send us a message through the contact form, along with the email address you give us so we can reply.
Standard server information generated by the act of requesting a page, which is how the internet works. We do not operate an advertising network, we do not carry third party advertising trackers, and we do not build a profile of you.
Why we hold it
To send you the briefing you asked for, and to answer messages you send us. That is the whole of it. Your email address is not used to target advertising, because we do not sell advertising of that kind.
Who we do not share it with
Sponsors never receive subscriber data, in any form, aggregated or otherwise. That is stated on the sponsorship page as one of the things sponsorship cannot buy, and it is repeated here because it is the question a subscriber would actually want answered.
We do not sell or rent the list. We do not pass it to a partner, an affiliate, an agency or anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will do so. You can unsubscribe from any email. Under UK data protection law you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you think we have handled your data improperly.
Requests go through the contact page and are actioned rather than negotiated.
How long we keep it
Your email address is kept while you are subscribed and is deleted on request or on unsubscribe. Messages sent through the contact form are kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards in case it reopens, then deleted.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or profiling cookies. It does not carry a third party advertising network. If that changes, this page changes first and the change is dated.
Children
This is a trade publication written for people working in or around the aesthetics sector. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
